My 10 year old was drawn into the spy school series a couple of years ago (and he has also drawn me in!) So when he somehow learned that spy ski school was coming out, he because obsessed with getting a copy as soon as possible. There was a countdown for the release date in my household. This book exceeded expectations. Although i've only read it once, my son read it three times within the first week!

How can I start?I have to note that in all of the Spy School books so far, the plot can be divided in three main themes: the action, the humor and the relationships.I'll start from the action.This time the movement of the story was simply EPIC. The beginning seemed a little too "normal", and the return of the Pirncipal (intentional mistake) was kind of annoying but funny.However, there's a different feel to this book respect to the others; far from SPYDER, an actual sanctioned operation, Mike's return.All three of the themes have "elevated" in this fourth book.For once, the mission is a real mission, which gives it a sort of "professional feel" to it: no more escaping SPYDER, no more weird job offerings or such.The action starts right away, with investigation, infiltrations and very funny undercover conversations.*SPOILER* And when I mean the action elevated, it elevated: nuclear bombs, helicopters and machine guns.A lot more action scenes compared to the other books, I think- and with the combination of snow, skis and menacing bodyguards makes it an exciting and enjoyable read.The "villains's big scheme" is well thought of too; one of the hardest things of writing a spy book, to me, is to create a believable scheme. Not something too silly nor ridiculous (like world domination), but a plan acceptable and carefully crafted.Now let's move on to the humor.Not a single one of Stuart Gibbs's books lacks humour; in the worst situations or in a tense moment, there are always funny side remarks or comments (when Warren clocked his head and was like "I want a pony")Most of the humour, this time, was directed toward Erica- *SPOILER* from her personality flipping like a coin whenever she went undercover, or actual her mistakes, or even when Zoe tried to spark a conversation about "girl talk" and Erica was like what the heck are you talking about??It's kind of too bad though, as Erica's one of my favorite characters and seeing her act as the craziest teenager ever (even if just a cover) was both hilarious and unsettling.Then, finally, the relationships.I was betting a million dollars that Ben would get yet another crush on the enemy agent.And it did, as everyone predicted.Jessica is an interesting character- as always, not much of a description except that she has hair and is comparable to Erica, but that's even more vague because there wasn't much description of Erica either.She seems very...real. Not that the others seem fake; she's a well crafted character who will probably appear in the future.It's revealed that Zoe absolutely dislikes Warren, poor him, but I take that back because he was being a jerk the whole time.As for Mike, his presence definitely turned the tables; the part where he was calculating which girl was better was pretty funny.He's a smart kid, probably worthy of joining the Spy Academy, which will be interesting to see how Ben will react to that.And of course, I can't skip the big Stuart-Gibbs-trademark cliffhanging ending and the jump of Ben&Erica's relationship, can I?I had accidentally read a comment and spoiled the discovery, but that part was still unexpected and epic.To finish up, this was, in my opinion, the best book of the series so far.Things have really elevated, more characters have risen up in importance, more questions remain unanswered.But if anyone can continue the series and keep up the awesomeness, I'm sure Stuart Gibbs won't disappoint us.

Spy Ski School was another amazing book by Stuart Gibbs.I liked the book because of all the excitement. There is kissing, defusing bombs and a whole lot more. But if I told you it would give away the story. I recommend this book to middle schoolers. I hope you choose to read it.

I read the first book of the series to see if my son would like them, and I thought he would. He did, and hence I pre-ordered this one. He loves this series, and is very excited to read them. He is 11, and reads at a 8th grade level. Some great humor. They are slightly on the long side, so if you have a slower reader at home might be a little intimidating for them seeing wow that is long, but it is one of those book that is worth it, and I'd still suggest introducing it to your kid, because might not be ready now to finish it, but one that they'll remember and pick back up when they are ready.

This is another good spy book. This is really good book. It is a little different from some of the other series. I think people of all ages would enjoy this book.

Read this book with my niece; we both enjoyed it. Highly recommend reading the other books in the series (especially Spy School) first. We are eagerly awaiting the next book in the series--scheduled to be released in a couple months. Book contains lots of action and social interaction. Eleven year old read this very easily. Would be suitable for younger readers.

I read it twice in two days it was so good stayed up under the bed all night reading it was so good

My 10 year old son LOVES these. He loves spy anything and also loves to read. It can be hard to find books that meet his expectation and are appropriate for his age. But he is loving these.

Thank you for another saga of the Blackwood Pack. Love and romance can be found in abundance in all of the books written by Mary Rundle. I rate this book with five stars because I really could not put it down. I love a good romance novel with bits of mystery along with a dose of intrigue. Looking forward to the next installment.

Each book in this series just gets better and better. This book isn’t just a romance, it has intrigue and comedic moments interwoven throughout the story. Dakota and Slates journey is one you don’t want to miss. The story hooks you from the beginning and just never lets go, all you want to do is read. A must read for fans of the shifter and fantasy genre!

New mates, new powers and some surprise additions. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was great to get to know Dakota better.**SPOILERS**They haven’t come yet but it looks like some long lost cousins are going to visit. The pack is expanding and so are my hopes for even more books in the series. Will the cousins get stories and mates? I hope so.It looks like our favorite younger brother and tech genius is about to have an adventure in a new country. So ready to keep reading!!!

I purchased this book when it was first published and I finally got around to reading it. I'm about to launch a new website and I knew I needed to read this book first. Although I haven't yet finished it, the book is providing me with ideas about how to reimagine my existing content and it even suggests a publishing schedule with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual tasks. If you are just starting a blog, read this book first. If you have been writing a blog for a while (like me) and are looking for new inspiration and oomph, this is a wonderful book. It also makes a strong case for videos and podcasts (which I've been avoiding) but now I'm shopping for a camcorder. It's a worthwhile book for every blogger in every industry. I know that I'm going to recommend it and loan it to friends and clients.

Content Rules is one of those timeless content marketing books that works for any business (I actually just bought a copy for my church). Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman walk you through the mindset of creating valuable content, then dig into the myriad of ways you can do so.Even though Content Rules is a few years old, I'd argue that it's more relevant now than ever before, as we have more tools for creating and repurposing content from channels that weren't as established when the book was first written (think social, but even through marketing automation and new publishing channels like LinkedIn and Medium).If you're new to content marketing, start here. If you've been at it awhile, come back to this book for a refresher on ways you can repurpose and reconnect with your customer base.

This book presents the most basic of info, such as to know your audience before creating content. I was looking for more in-depth information. I'd like to see more about how to develop a content plan that rolls up to business goals instead of what's basically simple tips on good communication.

As good a place as any to start researching if you'd like to start your own blog or website. Some basic principles are covered in here, but I don't feel like I'm going to create a killer blog or podcast anytime soon based on this book alone. I feel like Ann Handley's other book Everybody Writes is a more effective place to start. It's more focused, more in-depth, and more relevant to what makes content truly helpful and polished.

As a web content writer, I can't pass up a book that promises to help produce killer content for the Web. Thanks to my Kindle, I was able to buy the book and start reading it within seconds. Even though it took me a while to finish it (moving oblige), I'm really glad I did.I loved one of the foundational premises of the book: "marketing can learn a lot from the art and style of storytelling (literature) and the fundamentals and science of good reporting (journalism)" (loc 314). This is a book after my own heart-introducing literature in the marketing mix.The book is geared towards businesses and brands, not personal bloggers, but I did get a lot out of it anyway. As I'm trying to get up to date on web marketing and content management, I found the 11 rules the authors lay out simple and comprehensive: Embrace being a publisher Insight inspires originality Build momentum Speak human Reimagine, don't recycle Share or solve, don't shill Show, don't just tell Do something unexpected Stoke the campfire Create wings and roots Play to your strengthsThe rest of the book is devoted to explaining and demonstrating these 11 rules, first through theory and practical advice and then through several case studies.I appreciated the tutorial style of the book. Instead of focusing on why marketing has changed (a role fulfilled by The New Rules of Marketing & PR), the authors decided to discuss the how: the basic rules to create great content that supports your brand and brings you traffic.Something I found especially useful was the bare bones of an editorial calendar-what to post every day, every week, every month, every quarter and a few times a year. This will come in handy as I work on Molives` content strategy. In fact, most of the book is useful: it lays out in simple terms the different ways to produce good content without being prescriptive or preachy. The authors believe that there's no one-stop solution and that every content strategy must fit the business's goals.This is not a marketing theory book but rather a how-to. If you're interested in the theory behind the practice, look at The New Rules and other books about the same topic. There's plenty of them out there. But if you're looking for hands-on, practical tips that you can implement right away, Content Rules is a great choice to get started.

I was recommended this book by a friend who has his own business and is seriously impressed. What a brilliant guide to content marketing. It gives much more than I ever expected. The information is in depth and requires a 2nd or maybe even a 3rd read. Next time round though, I will be checking out many of the sites and blogs recommended. So much information its quite scary - but really exciting. I am looking forward to starting my own blogs and doing something serious with them.

Its another 5star for one of my favorite authors. Madison never disappoints with her books. They are hot, you need a fan and a Do Not Disturb sign. If you havent read any of her books before, then you need to pick up these books and get to reading. This book was amazing. I could not put it down until I finished reading it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to read it and aren’t sure if they want to. Trust me, you will love it.I voluntarily read an Advanced Reading Copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Well I love most her books and the sex but this book was 90 percent sex not much contents. I found myself skipping or skimming through the sex.

this was a good read but very similar to another one I read. it was sexy and enjoyable but I liked the other..sugar and spice better

The writers need to start proofreading their work. Is "Isabella" a Winters or a Wilder? Is it Summer in Paris? At Christmas ?Really?

Hot and sexy with a dark twist. I did find some spots distracting with editing issues but beyond that. ..

Good

Interesting love story with a similar ending as all of the older man and younger women loving each other. Love is good.

Wow! That was hot, hot, hot! And of course, the sweet happily ever after that I am always a sucker for :)
